JANUARY 2026 WBA WMU NEWSLETTER
Welcome to a New Year 2026, this is a time to reflect on last year’s accomplishments and set out to make this a great year for missions’ education in our Waccamaw Baptist Association. Together we can encourage, teach and grow our churches interest in starting organizations in WMU. However, any mission ministries for adults, youth and children are welcome to attend events advertised through WMU newsletter or weekly updates.
As we enter the second year of our emphasis, What Joy, we are reminded of the joy found only in Christ and how serving Him by helping others know Him can bring joy in our own lives. A very helpful resource for helping plan and guide others for this year in missions is the WMU Planning Guide 2025-26. The guide is a planning tool to help WMU play a part in discipling people in our churches from preschool to adults—to be on mission.
We have events planned for the churches in the Waccamaw Baptist Association that will be open, and we welcome anyone to attend. Listed below are dates, time and places the events will be held. 31 GA/CA Tea Party-Get ready and wear your Sunday Dress or a nice outfit to join us for a fun time. No need to wear a hat or bring a teacup. We will be making our own hats as a craft! Make sure to RSVP by Jan 15 to WBA Office at 843-248 9358 or email admin@wbasc.org and let us know how many kids and adults will be attending so we will have enough crafts and food for everyone—we can’t wait to see you.
